Farmer Hub

Technical support for smallholder and commercial farmers that are farming organically or wanting to transition to organic agriculture.

What makes a farm organic?

Organic farming works in harmony with nature. It focuses on healthy food, soils, plants, ecosystems and people as a priority. Organic farmers do not use synthetic fertilisers or pesticides, or GMOs, but instead utilise organic farming methods such as crop rotations, cover crops, organic inputs and holistic livestock management to provide clean, healthy food.

An organic farm is a working combination of tradition, innovation and science that benefits everyone sharing the environment, promoting a good quality of life for all.
